A Tactile expression of the Downward Spiral

Everyone knows that Detroit basically sucks. Trust me, I’ve been there. My family is from Toledo, about 30 minutes away. While Toledo looks like mid-century small-town getting bigger, Detroit is mid-century non-sensical city on overload and now everyone is moving out. To put a view on this, I came across this site: http://www.100abandonedhouses.com/ Take a look here and you’ll realize the movies weren’t exaggerating, this place is run down and run out. When people talk about New Orleans, it makes no sense to me after being through a place like this, why anyone would want to move back. Good Luck, Motor City.
